“Energy follows thought.”

Uncategorized Feb 04, 2026

On repeat.

It feels harder than ever to stay focused these days. World affairs pull at our attention, our emotions, our energy. For my own mental health, I choose to stay away from the news. There is only so much one person can do for the entire world (which is very large, by the way). But there is so much we can do for the world we live in—our own personal arena.

What if you were the person who brought the feeling of an exhale into a room full of chaos?
What would the ripple effect of that be?

Where do you place your thoughts?
Because energy follows thought.

We are more than just our physical bodies. We each have an energy field around us—so do the plants, the sun, and the earth. What might change if we focused more of our attention on our day-to-day actions? On how we treat one another? What if, instead of focusing on how different we are, we focused on the similarities we share?

And what if—when we start to spiral—we catch ourselves and gently reroute in the moment?

What if, before trying to fix the world, we focused on repairing our relationship with ourselves… with our bodies… with how we move through the day?

I am a very sensitive person. I’ve had to learn how to work with my system—how to honor and respect my sensitivity rather than fight it. I know many of you are sensitive too. That’s often why we find each other. We feel deeply. We care deeply. We want to make the world a better place.

I see you. I am you.

And I’m learning how to tend to my own energy and build my inner resources so I can be a sturdy tree in the storm—not one that’s thrown by every gust of wind.

Some of the most powerful ways I support my inner resources are simple, but consistent:

Daily intentional movement. You can find my daily routine on YouTube.

Time in nature—ideally every day, even briefly

  A simple breathing practice

  Sitting down when eating

No news in the evenings (or even daily, if you can step away)

Being around people I can laugh easily with

This month inside the membership, we’re working with the fascial system—exploring fascia as energy in motion. Fascia is how force, information, and sensation travel through the body, and it responds deeply to how supported and regulated our nervous system feels. Our focus is on moving in ways that restore flow, adaptability, and ease.

You’re welcome to join for one month, monthly, or for the year, and you’re also invited into the Love of Movement Community space—a place for practice, reflection, and connection. Join here.

At the end of the month, I’ll be away leading my annual Journey to the Heart Retreat, which is currently sold out. If you’re feeling the call to recharge your energy and step away from the noise, my Renewal Spring Retreat still has just a few spots remaining.

When you read “energy follows thought,” what comes up for you?
I’d love to hear.

With care,
Lila
