Hi! I'm LilaÂ
— movement alchemist, nervous system guide, and founder of The Love of Movement. I grew up in a small town in Southern Oregon, where summers were spent barefoot by the river and meals came from our garden. My parents raised me close to the earth—rooted in spirituality, simplicity, and a deep respect for the natural rhythms of life. That early connection to body and nature became the foundation for my life’s work. Â

Over the past 20+ years, I’ve guided thousands of people back home to themselves—through movement practices that weave together Pilates, breathwork, applied neurology, and functional flow to support the whole nervous system. Recently, I moved through a healing crisis that deepened everything I thought I knew. It reminded me—viscerally—that true well-being means caring for the body, the mind, and the spirit. Slowing down. Listening in. Letting softness lead. Whether I’m teaching a class, leading a retreat, or creating something for my online library, my intention is always the same: to help you feel stronger, softer, and more connected to the wisdom already living inside you. I’m based in the Bay Area, a proud mama and dog lover, and forever a student of movement, healing, and this wild, beautiful life. I’m so glad you’re here.

The Love of Movement Community is the culmination of my 20 years of studying mind-body practices—including Pilates, Yoga, Breathwork, and Applied Neurology—woven together with my deep experience working with individual clients.
Designed for both beginners and experienced movers, my approach helps you retrain habitual movement patterns and shift how you engage with the world. When we move and breathe better, we feel better. Through NeuroFusion classes that blend the latest brain science with mobility, mindful strength, and playful exploration, you’ll enhance confidence, posture, balance, and overall well-being.
The Love of Movement Community is a dynamic, eye-opening experience (literally!) that shows meaningful transformation is possible at any age and ability. By integrating the physical, the spiritual, and the intelligence of the nervous system into accessible, joyful practices, I invite you to move through life with more ease, energy, and enthusiasm.Â
